computer applications and
communication technology for
gathering, processing, storing
and disseminating of
information.

Technology is the technologies
used for collecting,
editing, and communicating
information in various
formats.
v It is a diverse set of technologies tools and it is used to communicate, and to create, disseminate, store and manage information.

for broadcasting telecommunications and
mediated communications.
For example :
Personal computers,
video games, cell
phones, internet and
electronic payment systems
and computer.
v ICT is made of computer and communication technolog.
v The computer technology is the tool for storing and processing information in digital form while communication technology helps us to transfer and disseminate digital information.
v ICT is the integration of computing, networking and information processing technologies and applications.
v Information and communication technologies are associated with the sophisticated and expensive computer-based technologies.

Technology tools contribute
to high quality
lessons since they
have potential to
increase students motivation,
connect students to
many information sources,
support active in-class
and out-class learning
environments, and let
instructors to allocate
more time for
facilitation. Therefore, use
of ICT tools
in teaching and
learning process becomes
a great area
of research for
many educators.
These technologies
increase students motivation,
self-confidence and self-esteem
to learn. Additionally,
new technologies usually
encourage independent and
active learning, as
a result, the
students feel more
responsible for their
own learning. Considerable
number of research
on the contribution
of ICT in
modernizing learning and
teaching, triggers attempts
to incorporate these
technologies in order
to benefit in
terms of quality
of education, flexibility,
access, and its
cost.
ZOOM
v Zoom is compatible with windows, IOS, Android, chrome OS. It is simple interface and usability, regardless of technological expertise.
v Features includes one-on-one meetings, group video conferences, screen sharing, browser extensions and the ability to record meeting.
v Computers and operating systems, users are able to select a virtual background, which can be downloaded from different sites, to use as a backdrop behind themselves.
v With powerful audio, video and collaboration features, the is remote communication tool connects more team members with each other.
GOOGLE MEET
v More than 100 million students and educators worldwide are now using classroom
v To make it easier to have classes remotely, we’re integrating classroom and meet, putting both tools in one place.
v Educators can create a unique meet link for each class, which is displayed on the classroom stream and classwork pages.
v The link acts as a dedicated meeting space for each class, making it easy for both teachers and students to join.
v To use this integration the administrators need to turn on meet for their domain.
v Administrators can grant meeting creation privileges to individuals or groups, and we recommended that we assign creating privileges to the organizational units that contain our faculty and staff members, which means that students will only be able to join meetings created by faculty or staff.
GOOGLE CLASSROOM
v Google classroom is an educational platform from Google, designed to make it easier for education professionals to conduct virtual lessons.
v It is a platform that is widely used, from individual tutors up to entire schools, allowing teachers to create and organize lessons, while also allowing communication with students and the submission of work by students and all within the same platform, without having everything scattered across different accounts and services.
v It is also easy to setup a Google classroom.
v Teacher share code with the class and the students can join by just entering the codes.
v That’s all it takes to create a virtual classroom.
GOOGLE SEARCH
v Google search results is free and easy.
v Google is fully automated search engine that uses software known as WEB CRAWLERS that explore that web on a regular basis to find sites to add to our index
.v In fact, the vast majority of sites listed in our results aren’t manually submitted for inclusion, but are found and added automatically when our web crawlers crawl the web.
WIKIPEDIA
v Wikipedia is an online free-content encyclopedia project helping to create a world in which everyone can freely share in the sum of all knowledge.
v It is supported by the Wikipedia foundation and based on a model of freely editable content.
v The name Wikipedia
is a blending
of the words
wiki and encyclopedia.
v Wikipedia’s articles provide links designed to guide the user to related pages with additional information.
v Wikipedia is a live collaboration differing from paper-based reference sources in important ways.
v It is continually created appearing within minutes, rather than months or years.
v Everybody can help improve it, Wikipedia has become more comprehensive than any other encyclopedia.
SLIDESHARE
v Slideshare is a web platform for hosting slides.
v Users can upload content prepared in power point, PDF or open document presentation.
v Slide decks can then be reviewed on the site itself or can be embedded on other sites.
v The platform is compatible with multiple devices such as mobile phones, tablet and other handheld devices as well as desktops.
v Slideshare is a great tool to create branded content and expand by putting power point presentations online.
v So it’s important to work towards making a presentations that attracts users attention and interest.
POWER POINT
v Power point is a complete presentation graphics package.
v It give everything need to produce a professional-looking presentation.
v Power point offers word processing, outlining, drawing, graphing and presentation management tools – all designed to be easy to use and learn.
v The presentations are comprised of slides, which may contain text, images and other media, such as audio clips and movies.
v Sound effects and animated transitions can also be included to add extra appeal to the presentation.
v However overusing sound effects and transitions will probably do more to annoy your audience than draw their attention.
WORD
v Microsoft word is an important education application.
v It is important to process raw facts into meaningful information.
v Microsoft word can benefits teachers and students to create new innovative methods of learning and teaching.
v Microsoft word for students help to transmit educational materials and practice systematically in school and university faster with higher quality.
For example
v When you type on wrong spelling on Microsoft word it highlights your mistake in the red line in real time.
v Then you right-click and correct it.
v Similar students observe spelling mistake in real-time.
v This is going to self-learning practices and freedom to take the decision.
v It will improve their brainpower, thinking pattern, MS word can help students to correct mistakes and improve self-analysis ability.
EXCEL
v Microsoft Excel is a helpful and powerful program for data analysis and documentations.
v It is a spreadsheet program, which contains a number of columns and rows, where each intersection of a column and a row is a cell.
v Each cell contains one point of data or one piece of information.
v Excel’s ability to dynamically generate charts and graphs in seconds makes it easy to quickly demonstrate relationship between numbers.
v Excel can easily convert any chart or data set into a web page, making it very easy to share information among groups.
WHATSAPP

can achieve faster

students.
v It can also increase the level of communication between students and create another venue for learning.
v It use the groups chats features to create learning and study groups.
v It create audio lessons that can be sent directly to students.
v It stay in contact with students outside the classroom.
v It send out problems or assignments to students even when they are not in class.
GMAIL
v Gmail is the most popular and widely used email service offered by Google.
v It is just one of many web-based email services used to exchange digital messages over internet.
v The ability to store many gigabytes of data as email data storage is most unique feature of Gmail.
v It is a platform through which email can be sent or received.
KAHOOT
v Kahoot is a game-based learning platform.
v Teachers can create multiple choice games related to class content that students can play as a class by entering the game code on their app or device.
v Kahoot offers a multitude of other forms of games related to class content that can make learning fun.
v It can be used throughout a lesson to measure student engagement and understanding.
v It is also simple to use because it works on any device and players don’t have to create an account.

· It has also raised issues of privacy and security.
· Risk factors for attacking computer viruses, spam, malware is also present in the system.
· In social network pages, cyber bullying is now so easy to bully and bully others as it has become very easy for the users of the internet around the world.
· Hard for teachers to use with a lack of experience using ICT tools.
· Working on computer the whole day cause bad effect to our health.
